How Hand Daily works

Five short rules, one shared deck per day, five antes to clear. You'll have it in one round.

1. The daily seed

Every day at UTC midnight, Hand Daily picks a new 52-card draw order. The same order is dealt to every player in the world — your friend in Tokyo sees the same cards as your friend in Lisbon. That shared seed is what makes the daily share-grid meaningful: when you brag about a Royal Flush on day 142, everyone else got the same chance you did.

2. The run

A run is 5 antes. Each ante deals you a hand from the day's deck and asks you to beat a target score. To beat the target you play five-card poker hands:

HandChips × Mult
High card5 × 1
Pair10 × 2
Two pair20 × 2
Three of a kind30 × 3
Straight30 × 4
Flush35 × 4
Full house40 × 4
Four of a kind60 × 7
Straight flush100 × 8

Card ranks add to chips; aces are 11, face cards 10, others their pip value. Final score = (base chips + rank totals) × multiplier.

3. Plays and discards

Per ante you get 4 plays and 3 discards. A play locks in 1–5 selected cards as your poker hand and scores them. A discard swaps up to 5 cards from your hand for fresh draws — useful when you're holding a busted hand.

4. Jokers

Beat an ante, earn coins, spend them in the shop between antes on jokers. Each joker has a distinct rule-bending effect that applies for the rest of the run. You can hold up to 4 at once, and their effects stack:

5. The share grid

When you finish a run, you can copy a Wordle-style emoji grid summarizing how the run went. No spoilers — squares encode hand strength, not exact cards. Paste it into a chat or post it on social and your friends can compare against the same daily seed without rerunning the math.
